Organic juniper berries

Juniper berries have been used for their medicinal and culinary properties for centuries, since ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Traditionally they have been used to improve digestion, treat urinary tract infections and as a natural antiseptic. Juniper berries are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds.

The recommended dose is usually 1-2 grams of dried berries per day. They are generally safe in moderate amounts when consumed with food.

Attention! Their strong diuretic properties can be problematic for people with kidney problems. In some people they can cause allergic reactions. Pregnant women should avoid consuming juniper berries because of the potential risks.
