Eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the bark and leaves of the Eucalyptus Globulus tree by steam distillation. It is a clear liquid with a fresh, woody and medicinal smell.
Eucalyptus essential oil, used in aromatherapy, stimulates the mind and energises the body. It is also known to ease breathing during colds or flu and kill harmful bacteria.
Eucalyptus essential oil, used in cosmetics, has skin regenerating properties. It’s also good for acne-prone skin – it cleanses and disinfects.
It can also soothe insect bites and stings and help cuts and other wounds heal faster. When used in hair care, this oil moisturises and cleanses dry or itchy scalps.

Eucalyptus oil is an effective kitchen cleaner due to its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

In aromatherapy, eucalyptus essential oil blends well with peppermint, spearmint, thyme, rosemary, pine, cedar, lavender, lemon and bergamot oils.
