Bergamot essential oil is extracted from the peel of small citrus fruits of the Citrus Bergamia tree by cold pressing. The resulting oil has a strong, pleasant citrus aroma and is greenish yellow in colour.
When added to a face or body cream, bergamot oil can soothe the skin and promote faster healing of cuts, acne or other skin injuries.
