Genmai miso is made from organic soybeans and unpolished brown rice. It’s made by Japanese specialists using traditional methods. During this process, the genmai miso is fermented for at least 12 months in large 100-year-old cedar casks. This gives the miso a deep, authentic and incomparable flavour. Genmai miso is great in (miso) soups, sauces and marinades, but also as a handy condiment for stews or wok dishes. Genmai miso has a medium-strong flavour.
Usage:
Use 1 tablespoon of paste – 200 ml for miso soup. Can be used as a base for sauces or marinades.
