Japanese roasted green organic tea Hojicha TERRASANA, 40 g
Hojicha is a fairly coarse-grained green tea. Hojicha’s earthy and slightly smoky flavour is achieved by gently roasting the tea leaves in a drum bath immediately after picking. For a slightly fresher hojicha, a slice of lemon or orange can be added to the slightly cooled tea. If you want a sweeter taste, you can add a little maple syrup.

Usage:
Use 1 teaspoon of hojicha tea per 250 ml of water. Prepare hojicha in the traditional Japanese way: first heat a cup of tea in hot water. Place a tea strainer in a hojicha teapot and pour water at a temperature of about 85-90 °C through the tea strainer. Allow to infuse for 1-2 minutes. If you use the same tea leaves a second time, let the tea water steep for 30 seconds longer.
